Are you licensed?
No. I am considered a Resident in Counseling/ pre-licensed professional. I am gaining hours towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia. I am aiming to be fully licensed by summer of 2026.
Who is your supervisor?
I meet with my Supervisor, MaryAnne Byrne, LPC, once a week for feedback on client care, assessment trainings, professional development, and ethical client care. Her contact information is available upon request.
Do you take insurance?
No. As a Resident in Counseling/ pre-licensed professional, I cannot bill directly for services, which means I also cannot take insurance. Everything except therapeutic services is self-pay. I offer limited free therapy sessions on a first come- first serve basis until I am fully licensed.
Are your workshops only for big groups?
Not at all! I can do big groups, small groups, a handful of people, or even individuals! For transparency sake though, it may be more beneficial and cost efficient for individuals to utilize my one on one consulting services.
Are you affirming?
Absolutely! I am Queer affirming, Trans affirming, Disability affirming, kink affirming, sex worker affirming, identity affirming, etc. If it’s important to you, and it’s not harming anyone, I’ll be as affirming as you need me to be!
