What is a Resident in Counseling?
I am a Resident in Counseling in the state of Virginia. This means that I practice therapeutic counseling under direct supervision from my Supervisor. As a resident, I am acquiring experience hours for full licensure, and I meet for regular supervison to make sure I am treating clients in a legal, ethical, and appropriate way. If you come to me for therapy services, I will make sure you have knowledge of what our relationship looks like, inform you who my supervisor is (also found in my FAQ) and walk you through the things I am required to report and what stays strictly between us.
What Kind of Spiritual Services do you Offer?
I offer Tarot to help guide you and/or make decisions that you may feel stuck on or need an outside perspective on. I also offer yes/no pendulum readings and deity identification, which means I will ask you some background information and help you figure out and identify which spiritual deity is either reaching out to you, or would be a good fit for you to worship/work with. ***DISCLAIMER: SPIRITUAL SERVICES ARE FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY! THESE SERVICES ARE NOT THERAPEUTIC, AND ARE NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC CARE. I DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOMES OF SESSIONS!***
What is The Process Like?
For therapy clients, I ask that you send me an e-mail, as I only accept a limited number of therapy clients until I am fully licensed. I will communicate with you about your needs and determine if we are an appropriate match. I will then send you the appropriate paperwork to fill out and get you scheduled. For all other services, please send me an e-mail or fill out the contact form below and let me know what you are looking for, and we will chat about your needs and scheduling.
1. Decide which service is best for you
2. Send me an e-mail or fill out the inqury form below
Once you have browsed my services and decided which service you are interested in, please send me an e-mail ( found in the “contact” section, or fill out an inquiry with the form beow. Please make sure you write the service you are interested in with your message.
3. We will communicate via e-mail or Google meet for a consultation
Once I recieve an inquiry or e-mail from you, I will reach out to set up a time and day to either meet you for a video consult, or we can discuss your needs over e-mail, and then move to step 4.
4. Determine goodness of fit
This part is CRUCIAL. I want to make sure your needs are met, but I also understand that we are not made to vibe with everyone. That’s why I offer a FREE 15 min consultation to see how we connect and if we would work well together. If we do, great! We will move to step 5. If we don’t, that’s ok too, and I will send you other resources (see step 5.)
5. Start our work together/ Refer
If you have found that you are interested in one or more of my services, and we have had our consultation, there will be one of two outcomes. We either decide together that we are an appropriate fit for each other and start working together, or I will send you referrals and resources for someone who may be a better fit for what you are looking for.

About Me
I live in Fredericksburg, Virginia with my husband, two daughters, and our cats. I became disabled at age 20, but have had debiliatating health issues for most of my life. Coping with my health challenges and fighting an abelist society gave me a unique perspective that I decided would be useful in the therapy room, and also as an educator. I have since dedicated my career to helping others navigate a system that is not made for the disabled community. I have developed a passion for teaching others about ableism, becoming anti-ableist, inclusivity, intersectionality, and advocating for change. Not just in the disabled community, but for everyone who identifies as part of a population who has experienced systemic oppression. I also love all thing nerd, occult, odd, and eccentric. I hope to incorporate all of my passions to help others!
